“Deus Ex Machina, Hliehhan, The Book, and Me”

A unique collection of artwork created and fabricated for the Richard & Gina Aurora Public Library, Aurora, IL is accessible and available for examination both outside and inside of the library. There exists a distinct relationship between all the individual artworks. This relationship may be best described in part as a repetitiously redundant echo.

Most, if not all the items selected and incorporated into each piece have been carefully chosen and articulated quite intentionally. There is probably nothing else like it within a 3.14159 mile radius. Oh, and by the way there is humor within it all.

My intent with this presentation is to briefly explain how a Hyper-Anachronistic, Allegorical, Metaphysical, Surrealist, Mechanical piece of art becomes a self-referential mirror unto itself.
