The newest addition to R/Evolving Circus Carousel is a quick and easy way to attach the extension arms. A spring pin replaces the original bolt on method. Greta Bell will no longer have to struggle with 24 bolts, nuts, lock-washers and a zillion trips up and down the ladder. The "Remove Before Flight" tag is an important metaphorical message. The circus is about to take flight!
Of course-there's-always-fun-in-it...Get it?
The view from the higher plane? No just above the fray and aluminum debris with a new bungee cord attached. The color coding adds to the ease of assembly as well as to the appearance of the untimely machine.
Even though the carousel is 4 feet shorter and 4 feet less in diameter, it still has an imposing character. Greta Bell's paintings will energize the structure and transform the R/Evolving Circus. The carousel with the Austin Boston Peabody Human Steam and Gerbil Muscle Quantum Drive System will be fully operational much sooner than later. It will be spinning through time and space this week. Come and see Greta Bell's Carousel, Annette the Marionette and perhaps a new member of the R/Evolving Circus this Friday 04.12.2013 in studio 6A at Water Street Studios. Our heads are spinning with excitement!

A hint of identity smiling through the pane.
